Introduction: Hinduism

"New Zealand (NZ) is one of the smaller countries in the world, as measured by size, population, economic resources, and arms."[1] According to Miller, "New Zealand enjoys a strong tradition of democratically elected party government"[2] and good governance. But on March 15, 2019, Christchurch terrorist attack shattered the community peace of Aotearoa (NZ). Communities and the government felt shocked at this happening, though one community used to complain before 2019 about the online and offline use of offensive words against them. The NZ Prime Minister took all necessary measures to win the people's confidence at this critical juncture, but the Muslim community continues to feel insecure and fearful. After three years of Christchurch’s Mosque attack, Muslim community activists say that they are still facing daily racism in their life.[3] A study confirmed that hatred of the Muslim community is increasing worldwide, with NZ no exception.[4]

Christchurch attack killed 49 Muslims, disturbing New Zealand's peace, for Police were unaware of the preparations for this attack by a lone wolf later known as “Saint Tarrant” by Action Zealandia.[5] People's cooperation is essential to discovering the lone Wolf in time. The lone wolf can be from any community, religion, or culture. It is for this reason, in this dissertation, cultural Hindutva and Hindu nationalism need critical examination.

The main reasons for Islamophobia are “lack of knowledge about Islam, racism in the media,”[6]  and “profiteering by politicians and elites.”[7] Professor Mohan  J. Dutta, the dean’s chair in communication at Massey University (Dutta), and Dr. Danny Osborne, University of Auckland psychology lecturer (Osborne) refer to the power politics of political parties, including right-wing authoritarianism around the world. Professor Colleen Ward (Ward) points to racism spread by media and a lack of knowledge of Islamic culture.[8]

Many scholars[9] narrate that Hindutva infuses a sense of pride and the sense of supremacy in the Hindu community in India and its diaspora. According to Dutta, this sense of superiority and pride in the Hindu community in New Zealand leads to fear, prejudice, and insecurity, among New Zealand Muslims.[10]

Recently New Zealand Herald published that hatred is brewing between two migrants, Kiwi-Indian-Hindus (Hindus) and Kiwi-Indian-Muslims (Muslims). According to Dutta, Hindu nationalism portrays Muslims and Christians as invaders. Dutta and Kumbamu[11] refer to the legislations passed by the Indian parliament like the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019, the National Register of Citizens (NRC), the bill on three talaqs of Muslim practice and abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution on Kashmir. In addition, Muslims fear Modi for the Gujarat riots, in which around a thousand Muslims were killed after Muslims burnt two bogies of a train killing Karsevaks (who serve others) returning from Ayodhya.

The second cause, according to Dutta, is Hindu culture, which teaches Hindu nationalism through Hindu “cultural forms, artifacts, and performances”. Dutta blames Hindu organizations and Hindu institutions of education and temples that propagate Hindu culture for inculcating Hindutva (Hindu nationalism, which breeds hatred) against Muslims in India and New Zealand (NZ). Dutta adds, "The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is a terrorist organization that has been directly linked to the deployment of violence and cultural elements of Hindutva in Aotearoa be closely examined.”[12]

Jaffrelot, who deeply observed Indian politics, confirmed that Islamophobia is the product of Moditva that “interlaced Hindutva with populism.”[13] Media and the internet transmitted hatred between Hindus and Muslims to NZ.

It is, therefore, necessary to find out if there is any hatred in Hindus against Muslims in Aotearoa. If yes, is this hatred related to the current political decisions taken by Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), which Dutta and others assume? Or is this rhetoric created by Indian and international print, social and other media against BJP? Or Is this hatred ingrained in Cultural Hindutva in NZ? Dutta confirms that literature is silent on Indians in NZ and does not refer to the presence of Hindutva.[14] Leckie called it “invisible Indians.”[15]

I follow discourse analysis methodology to determine if Hindu culture (Cultural Hindutva) causes conflict.

Manipur violence is political violence masterminded in  May 2023 by INC (Congress) before the May 2024 elections in India. Experts on political conflicts wrote thousands of articles in which it is stated that how Congress used to win elections in India by infusing conflict between Hindus and Muslims. Now Congress raised this demon in Manipur to disturb the peace of India. The Power of Narratives - example Iraq./ Ethnic Groups in Conflict by Horowitz. The interest of Institutional power manipulates the sentiments of ethnic groups. Congress is well supported by national and international academics to infuse conflict in the societies, which Congress / Colonial powers used to rule earlier  (why do political parties in severely divided societies split along ethnic lines? Horowitz in his book "Ethnic Groups in Conflict"). No international capital like Europe, Russia, India, Arab, Africa, and China progress to that level where they can challenge the Unipolar world. India and China must learn from this. Conflict is mainly due to the fear of unknown. One community feels that the other community may dominate them. This fear of domination by the rival ethnic group leads to the fear of extinction. 

Problem is created by Congress INC of India, when INC allowed proselytization of the one community and migrtaion from other neighbouring states. In Manipur it is Christianity but in Rajasthan and West Bengal it is Muslim community. Politicians used it for their power benefit and now BJP is trying to alter the ethnicity emotions to the national emotions for the progress and prosperity of India. 

People without borders believe that all human beings are equal and have the right to love and respect each other. Any religion which spreads hatred for other religions must be reexamined and reconstructed and necessary social, political, and economic measures must be initiated to educate the religious leaders.

Jaipal's opinion. "Russia, India, and China should encourage neighbors to join groups propagated by Russia, India, and China. Name it BRICS or a new name to challenge the old United Nations as the United Nations of Africa, Arab, Asia, and Europe (AAAE). The identity of religion, territory, color, and race should be diluted to minimize conflict. This shall bestow the people with prosperity and happiness. It does not matter who invests in the infrastructure and health care. It should be for peace and prosperity. Terror organizations should be handled by rigid rules and regulations. Human rights must be important but not at the cost of human responsibilities and duties. Innovate a new currency like Euro for this new United Nations. The establishment of the new United Nations is important, for old organizations of the old United Nations failed to deliver the results. Consider the failure of the judicial system of India, which sank due to the appeasement and corrupt policies of Congress (INC). New technology shall help in improving the administration of the new United Nations of AAAE. Intellectuals of AAAE should guide humanity further to establish the New World Order of AAAE." New Unipolar World Order.

 NUH Violence - Haryana

Nuh Violence in Haryana and Manipur shall continue in many places before and after the elections of 2024. The reason for violence before Parliament 2024 elections is explained by Donald Horowitz in his book. The main reasons for conflict are fear of domination by the majority of minorities, ethnic history of rule by a minority of the majority, and envy among different ethnic groups. The fear of domination at the extreme becomes a fear of extinction - which is the main cause of conflict. In India Modi represents the majority and Muslims in Nuh and Christians in Manipur feel domination by the majority of Hindus, for many rules are passed by state governments to control proselytization, excess control on resources, and appeasement policy adopted by earlier Sonia Congress government.

Modi may win again and may become the prime Minister of India. After elections, the opposition will argue that elections are rigged and only one hundred thousand people can ensure violence and attack on police, and instigate riots. Many foreign NGOs may be planning new toolkits to destabilize India. Indian criminals may assist these foreign mafias. It has happened earlier and happening now in India. Consider all opposition leaders who were found corrupt are uniting against Narender Bhai Modi and named a new organization of opposition as I.N.D.I.A. Opposition leaders assume that the I.N.D.I.A. name may be misunderstood by voters as INDIA.

Pradeep Singh talks about grooming gangs in Britain in his Podcast. According to him, foreign media acts united against the Hindus of India. According to me, Hinduism minimizes conflict and most Hindus are afraid of killing mosquitoes and ants. Examples are Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. These Hindu religions preach non-violence and karma theory. Mahatma Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi exploited this non-violence emotion to unite, while Savarkar wanted Hindus to overcome this weakness. 

Yogi Adityanath explains Dharma, the responsibility of a Yogi. Robin Sharma wrote a book  "The Monk who sold his Ferrari - a fable about fulfilling your dreams and reaching your destiny". Yogi said that service to humanity is the first step toward social life, and politics is the medium to serve people. All this is explained by Yogi in his following interview "Politics in India" interviewed in ANI Podcast by Samita Prakash. I met some citizens of non-Indian foreign countries who hate saffron clothing worn by Buddhists and Yogis of the world. It is not their mistake of understanding but it is due to the media of some countries that incubate seeds of hatred in the minds of the people against people of other castes, races, colors, languages, and cultures.

China and India must resolve borders for the peace and prosperity of the people of India and China. War cannot provide a solution. Borders are no more important in today's world. Leaders must think beyond, for territories are no more imp[ortant. 

China occupied Tibet. If territories are not important, then can Indian people visit Tibet without Chinese permission? It is not possible. Even USA cannot visit Tibet without Chinese permission.  How to resolve this crisis? China wants to dominate not only Tibet but areas in the China Sea, and many areas belonging to other states including areas located inside Russia. USA / NATO did not agree with Russia on the Ukraine issue. Is war the only solution to resolve the power politics of leaders? 

In case India accepts the global family ideology. Lets us assume India agrees with China and allows China to take over Indian territories. Then Chinese leadership will dominate Indians and Indians will be slaves again. So Vasudhaive Kutumbakam and Sarve Bhaventu Sukhina are the words that are suitable for ideal theory. Realists think differently. War is the last option. 

Kashmir is the other conflict area. It is similar to Tibet.  Legally King Hari Singh annexed Kashmir with India. But Pakistan wanted by force on the basis of religion. Junagarh's example was followed by Pakistan in Kashmir. Pakistan overlooked Hari Singh's agreement. But India thinks differently. Again war is not a solution. War should be fought only if there is a chance of victory.  In today's world, religion and ideology are more important than identity and territory. Iraq, Yugoslavia, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine are examples. 

In the last, I think we all are puppets in the hands of destiny. We act as per the wishes of directors. These directors are nine planets and twenty-seven stars. We all take birth to die. War and peace are the destinies we face. For peace, we must prepare for the war. This is life.
